How to host an event on Raunak
Raunak gives organizers one place to publish an event, create free or paid tickets, share a booking link and check guests in. Attendees book online and receive a QR ticket by email. WhatsApp delivery is available when the organizer enables it and the attendee opts in.
1. Create and publish your event
Add the date, venue or online details, images, refund policy and ticket types. Publish when the page is ready to share.
2. Share the booking link
Attendees choose tickets and pay through Cashfree for paid bookings. Free tickets skip payment.
3. Deliver tickets
Issued QR tickets are sent by email and remain available under My tickets. WhatsApp messages depend on event settings and consent.
4. Check guests in
Assigned staff scan each QR code or search for an attendee. Repeat scans are flagged.
Is hosting free?
Yes. Your first event is free to host: no setup fee, no monthly fee, no platform fee (Your first event — ₹0 platform fee). If you sell paid tickets, the payment gateway charges its standard processing fee. After your first event, 2% + ₹3 per paid ticket applies on paid tickets; free tickets stay free.

How do attendees pay?
UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets through Cashfree checkout.
Do attendees need an app?
No. Their QR ticket arrives by email and WhatsApp, and stays available on their My tickets page.
How do WhatsApp messages work?
Confirmations and reminders send automatically. You can customize the message from your dashboard.
Can my team help run the event?
Invite members, give them roles and assign them to events. Gate staff only see check-in.
What about refunds and cancellations?
You set the refund policy for each event. Attendees can read it before checkout.
Can I run free events?
Yes. Free tickets skip payment entirely.
How does check-in work?
Assigned staff can scan a ticket's QR code or look up an attendee. A second scan is flagged so the same ticket cannot be used twice.
Where can attendees find their tickets again?
Attendees can sign in to My tickets to view their issued tickets. Email is the delivery fallback when WhatsApp is unavailable.
